What We Believe

WHAT WE BELIEVE

One God

We believe in God the eternal king, the creator of the universe and the righteous judge of all. He exists as the one true and living God in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

(Romans 1:20, Isaiah 9:6, Romans 16:26, 1 Timothy 1:7, Genesis 1:1, Psalm 33:6, Psalm 96:13, Revelation 19:11, Genesis 1:26, John 1:1 & 18, John 10:30, John 16:13-15, Matthew 28:19)

God the Father

We believe that God the Father, who is infinite in love and power, is ever present, unchangeable, and perfect in holiness. He, filled with mercy and grace, and sustained by wisdom, established the plan for man’s salvation through Jesus Christ.

Psalm 145:8-10, Psalm 103: 13,17,19, 1 John 4:8-9 & 19, John 3:16, Exodus 15:6, Numbers 23:19, 1 Samuel 15:29, 1 Peter 1:15-16, Revelation 4:8, Ephesians 2:10, Matthew 25:31, Matthew 6:13, 1 Corinthians 1:24, Ephesians 1:21, Hebrews 1:3, Proverbs 2:6-7, Proverbs 3:19 & 21

God the Son

We believe in Jesus Christ, God the Son, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is the only savior from sin. He took our sins upon Himself and was crucified to save us from the penalty of sin, which is eternal judgment. Jesus defeated death by His resurrection and now sits at the Father’s side.

God the Holy Spirit

We believe God sent His Holy Spirit to the church with gifts of power, and that power is still alive today. All believers are entitled to and should earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. This Baptism is a distinct experience following salvation, providing power for life and service.

Salvation

We believe in salvation by turning away from sin, accepting, believing in, confessing and relying on Jesus Christ as Lord.

Romans 10:9-10, John 3:3-5,18 1 John 3:11-13, John 6: 47, Acts 10:43, Romans 1:16

The Bible

We believe that the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, were inspired by God and are the revelation of God to man and the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct for all mankind. It is a priority for us to carry the Heart of God. A love for God cannot be apart from His Word. The Word of God is integral in a Holy Spirit-led life!

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit bestows gifts on God’s people and are in operation today for the expansion of the Kingdom of God.

Acts 1:1-26 & 2:1-47, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31

Healing

We believe that healing is a promise from God and if we lay hands on the sick they will recover. We are a house of healing, worship and outreach to the nations. God has called us to rebuild the foundations of His church. God is to be experienced and expressed through a life of devotion, sonship and service.

One Saturday each month, we open our doors to the Body of Christ for a day of partnering with the Holy Spirit in prayer.
